Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine millet, water, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and raisins.

Step 2

Bring to a boil.

Step 3

Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 25 minutes without stirring.

Step 4

If the liquid is not completely cooked, cook for 3-5 minutes longer, partially covered.

Step 5

Remove from heat.

Step 6

Drizzle with maple syrup or honey.

Step 7

Serve.
