Cheer music and dance is what would best describe the afternoon that was Sunday 16th March 2014. Spice Roots Simba Union was the center point of the Pearl Koroga Premier League semi-finals. The event which kicked off at about 1:30 pm was characterized with lots of hope, expectations and a flurry of activity.
Sunday 23rd March saw the Pearl Koroga Premier League Finals taking place at Mystique Gardens in Westlands. The event, undoubtedly the biggest of the koroga series this year, kicked off at 1:50pm and with four teams battling it out to emerge overall winner, it was an intense race to gastronomic mastery for the contesting teams.
Sunday 9th March was a hub of food, fun and activity at the second round of Pearl Koroga Premier League, held at Curry in a Hurry. An initiative by East FM, led by Jasmine Postwalla, the koroga saw another 6 teams battling it out to showcase the best of their culinary prowess. Each led by a presenter of East FM, the teams presented themselves by their team identities that included: Aaja Chakle, Sufuria Shakers, Koroga Express, Jhakas Jikos, Koroga Minions and Thakela Theplas.
