Sunday 9th March was a hub of food, fun and activity at the second round of Pearl Koroga Premier League, held at Curry in a Hurry. An initiative by East FM, led by Jasmine Postwalla, the koroga saw another 6 teams battling it out to showcase the best of their culinary prowess. Each led by a presenter of East FM, the teams presented themselves by their team identities that included: Aaja Chakle, Sufuria Shakers, Koroga Express, Jhakas Jikos, Koroga Minions and Thakela Theplas.
Kicking off at 1:30 pm, the koroga was a fusion of music and dance with a variety of entertainment from a Dhol drummer and a game of musical chairs. Each team had 2 hours at most to prepare a meal inclusive of a rice dish and an accompanying cuisine/stew. In the end, various awards were presented based on time, taste and inspiration as follows:

Based on taste, appeal and overall food presentation, 3 of the 6 teams managed this knock-out stage to qualify for the next round. Next weekend, 16th March 2014, sees the 3rd round of Pearl Koroga Premier League at Spice Roots. Battling it out will be (from the 1st and 2nd rounds respectively)
