As part of the 20m donation to the National COVID-19 Fund, CIL embarked on a county drive to deliver a total of 550 bales (13.2T) of Soko Maize Meal Flour to each of the 10 counties identified, among them: Embu, Kajiado, Kiambu, Kirinyaga, Laikipia, Machakos, Meru, Murang'a, Nyandarua, Nyeri and Tharaka Nithi. In each of these, CIL worked with the county governments who identified the needy and vulnerable families who will benefit from the flour.
